A. Special Topics courses may be approved for use in this degree plan, with permission of Black Studies Program Director, in the Department of Gender Studies. Examples of Special Topics courses with topic titles that would be relevant to the Black Studies General:

  • ARTH 305 - Topic Title: Global African Diaspora
  • ENGL 471 - Topic Title: Race, Sound and African American Literature 
  • GNDS 410 - Topic Title: Technologies of Blackness and Hip Hop
